A Colorful Reception Design for a Whimsical Indoor Wedding
The vendor team worked their magic for Amanda and Colin’s whimsical wedding at Spencer’s at the Waterfront by Pearle Hospitality. Nestled on the edge of Lake Ontario, this trendy whimsical reception was filled with wild blooms, contemporary seating, and modern tables that were perfectly set for a colourful celebration.

A Whimsical Modern Table Design with Colorful Details
From start to finish, it was clear how much newlyweds Amanda and Collin love each other – and that translated into every detail from the bride’s modern short sleeve gown to the breathtaking reception design. Spencer’s at the Waterfront is filled with stark white and black accent tones throughout. Not to mention the breathtaking floor-to-ceiling windows creating the perfect blank canvas for the couple to create a unique and unforgettable reception.
The goal was to take this open floor plan and transform it into a whimsical, yet minimal design for their Lake Ontario wedding. Guests were seated at clear acrylic chairs placed at long connected tables topped with chic white linens. At the head sweetheart table, a lush floral display was placed at the base of the table. Romantic peach glassware and simplistic charger plates were carefully placed at each seat, complemented by bone velvet napkins, which delicately draped off the end of the table for added dimension and texture.
Amanda and Colin chose to balance out the space by adding colour through their beautifully designed floral arrangements by Blush and Bloom, separated by candles of varying heights. The loose centerpieces made up of pastel pink roses and single stem wild flowers were the stars of the show.
We loved how the neutral place setting complimented the enchanting floral elements– it just made the entire space look complete and ready for the celebration!
Everything came together so beautiful, and Amanda’s reaction to her wedding reception space says it all!
